Mumbai Ahmedabad high speed rail corridor is a high speed rail line construction start in Jan 2019 with acquisition of the land for the Sabarmati terminus, and high speed train run on 15 August 2022. 16 Indian companies shown interest in development of the Sabarmati terminal hub of Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet project. It will be based on theme of Mahatma Gandhi famous dandi march in 1930. Total 16 Indian companies bid for this terminal. Total 1,50,000 lakh trees relocated in this projects. Contract for India’s first such project the 508 – km long high speed corridor will have total 12 stations. Ahmedabad, Vadodara,Bharuch,Surat, Billimora etc.
In this project will require around 58 lakh tonne of cement. In this projects each station unique design & reflecting the local culture long with development of commercial area & parking areas etc. The train without stoppages will take two hours and with stoppages roughly three hours to cover the distance between Mumbai to ahmedabad.
