2.   National Mineral Development Corporation India (NMDC)

 

NMDC previously known as the National Mineral Development Corporation India is an Indian state control fully public enterprise. NMDC is under control of Ministry of Steel, Government of India. Govt. owned the 72.43% holding. Founded in 1958, employed 5700 employees on 2017-18.

NMDC does mining in ore, copper, gypsum, magnetite, diamond, graphite, lime stone, rock phosphate at different places in India.

3.   Hindustan Zinc Ltd

 

Hindustan Zinc limited is the subsidiaries of the Vedanta resources PLC. HZL is the world’s second largest zinc producer; along with the zinc company also produces lead, silver, cadmium. In FY2018 company does the INR 22,084 Cr. revenue. HZL employed 6752 employees in the year 2017-18. Company is among globally in top 10 silver producers. 

 

Apart from the mining & smelting company also enters into the power business. HZL produces the power through captive power plants, solar power, and wind power. During FY2018 company produced 414 million units through wind power & 30 million units through solar power.

 5.  National Aluminium Company Ltd (NALCO)

NALCO is a Navratna CPSE under Ministry of Mines. It was set up on 7th January, 1981 in the Public Sector, with its enlisted office at Bhubaneswar. 6. Rajasthan State Mines and Minerals Limited (RSMML)

Rajasthan State Mines and Minerals restricted (RSMML) is one of the main and dynamic Undertaking of the Government of Rajasthan.

7. Hindustan Copper

8. Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd

GMDC was fused on fifteenth May 1963 to create real mineral assets in the State and began with Silica Sand quarrying plant close for the Crushing and the screening of Silica Sand required for the Glass Industry.

    9. Bharat Aluminium Company (BALCO)

BALCO was fused in year 1965 as the main Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) in India and from that point forward it has been nearly connected with the Indian Industrial Growth, in a significant job.
